We are from Kosovo, and we have not violated the laws of Kosovo, defamers will face the law

A few days ago, an unknown online portal posted an unedited news article about ArtMotion, but they removed it after a few minutes.

However, on Monday, the same portal, now “well-known,” but strangely without a physical address of work, published the same news, now slightly edited, and did not remove it after a few minutes like the first time.

Below, we will clarify with facts the intentions of the portal and distributors of falsehoods, exposing their tendency to falsify facts with the aim of distorting the truth and unfairly damaging ArtMotion’s image.

ArtMotion is a 100% Kosovar company. It is registered and licensed in the Republic of Kosovo, based on the laws and regulations in force.

The owner of ArtMotion is a Albanian Kosovar who holds a passport and permanent residence only in Kosovo. This does not exclude the possibility that, according to the laws of the Republic of Kosovo, he may also have another passport.

The retransmission of ArenaSport channels is done based on the laws in force for the rights that ArenaSport has for the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, which are acquired through international tenders. This is entirely true, no more and no less.

Every company in every country has the right to acquire broadcasting rights for television and sports content for the country it operates in, as well as for other countries. The same applies to ArenaSport channels. ArtMotion has acquired the rights for the Republic of Kosovo from the company that previously acquired these rights for several countries in the region, such as Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, and Montenegro.

All agreements between ArtMotion and Arena Sport are deposited with the Independent Media Commission. These agreements are deposited with the IMC in the same way as the agreements between ArtMotion and the most renowned companies in the world for television content, such as Paramount, Euro Sport, Discovery, NBC Universal, VIACOM, Sony, Warner Bros, Banijey, UEFA, FIFA, La Liga, NBA, Formula 1, Moto GP, International Judo Federation, Cinestar, French Ligue 1, DigitAlb from Albania, and many others.

Here arises the question of how it is possible for ArtMotion to be automatically labeled as a “Serbian company” only because of an agreement with a company based in Serbia, but not as an American, British, or Japanese company due to similar agreements they have with companies in the USA, UK, and Japan?

ArtMotion clarified this issue with the IMC back in 2018 when similar questions were raised, and it was then confirmed that everything is in accordance with the law.

We are pleased to reveal that in recent years, ArtMotion has significantly increased the number of its domestic sports channels and has also increased the number of sports events, breaking a 15-year monopoly where only one company had the rights to sports events and making the presence of ArenaSport channels less prominent.

Over time, several months before this became the norm, ArtMotion permanently removed channels originating from Russia from its platform, specifically since December 14, 2021 (photo 1), this was applauded by Western embassies, while the decision of the Council of Europe was made on March 1, 2022, and the Government of Kosovo made its decision on March 23, 2022 (photo 2), these dates were when other cable operators in Kosovo had already discontinued their transmissions.

In terms of company ownership, Kosovo laws allow for various forms of company registration, such as LLC (Limited Liability Company) and JSC (Joint Stock Company).Alternatively, a company can also be registered in another location, for example, in a different jurisdiction.For example, large American companies like Apple, Pfizer, etc., have their holding companies registered outside the United States.

One more time, ArtMoton is registered and licensed in Kosovo, which can be verified by anyone interested.

While mentioning all of the above, we need to address the presentation of an authorization given by a licensed party from Facebook and YouTube to report the intellectual property theft of ArtMotion, this action is punishable under the laws of Kosovo and international legislation, leading us to understand that the individuals behind this supposed “investigation” are the actual perpetrators of television signal theft, It appears that without basis, they have also implicated a political structure in Kosovo. The presented document is provided to parties involved in television and Facebook/YouTube piracy, through which videos or pages engaged in piracy are blocked

One of the oldest pirates in this industry, who now faces legal action in the United States, has found refuge in Kosovo and has started implementing their international criminal agenda through a political facade, deceiving both institutions and activists of this political facade. These motives will be exposed, and wrongdoers will face justice.

ArtMotion is currently the largest Albanian platform, contributing tens of millions of euros in taxes to the Republic of Kosovo and employing hundreds of direct and indirect employees.

ArtMotion will soon expand its operations to all the countries in the region where there is an Albanian population, aiming to provide the richest Albanian television platform.

Meanwhile, with the old pirate, authorities in the United States will take action once again!
