A married couple was discovered with gunshot wounds in their bedroom in Kërvasari, Malisheva; the pregnant wife later died despite medical treatment.
A serious incident occurred on Sunday night in the village of Kërvasari, Malisheva, where a married couple was shot with a firearm.
For Klankosova.tv, the police spokesperson for the Gjakova region, Vlera Krasniqi, said police units responded immediately to the scene, where they found two injured persons, a man and his wife, in a bedroom.
The victims received first‑aid medical assistance and were later taken for treatment to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (QKUK).
During the examination of the crime scene, police also found and seized a firearm suspected to have been used in the incident.
At around 01:10, QKUK informed the police that the female victim, of mature age, had died as a result of her injuries. According to Klankosova, the woman was pregnant.
The state prosecutor arrived at the scene and decided to open the case as a “Serious Murder”.
Investigations to fully clarify the circumstances and motive of this event are ongoing.
