The Municipality of Pristina announced a technical test of the public alarm system on August 22, 2026, urging residents not to be alarmed by the sirens.
The Municipality of Pristina, through the Directorate for Security and Emergencies, has informed residents that today, August 22, 2026, a test of the Public Alarm System will be carried out in the capital.
According to the notice published on the Municipality's official website, the test will take place at 12:15, and the alarm will sound with a uniform tone twice, each lasting 30 seconds.
The Municipality emphasized that this is only a technical test, with no connection to any real emergency situation.
For this reason, residents are urged not to be alarmed by the siren activation and to avoid unnecessary actions, such as abruptly leaving workplaces or schools.
